The leather and stitching are of good quality. The fastening stud provided was plain black not using the logo as shown in the pictures. Nice, but over-priced.

As for the snap fastener, I’ve chosen to no longer include the Atelier logo. The engraving was done through machining, which unfortunately weakened the button over time. To ensure better durability, I’ve decided to keep it plain.
I apologize for not having updated the product photos on the website yet — I’ll make sure to do that as soon as possible.

The Vestige is a fantastic razor! The GEM style razor is one of my favorites. The + baseplate makes it just right for me. Smooth and efficient with no harshness. I very highly recommend the Vestige and any Atelier Durdan product!
Tried it in the Damn Fine Shave passaround and I love brass so it was a no brainer. 1.5 is perfect for me. Love everything AD does!
GEM razors are hands down my favourite format. The Vestige is a marvelous piece of design and has the smallest head of any GEM I own. I was concerned it would be too light but even in bronze it's a really good weight. I bought the + plate but both the classic and ++ are excellent as well.
FANTASTIC razor! Light, nimble and efficient. Almost seems impossible to cut or nick myself with it. I have the Classique plate and a + plate on the way. Zero issues around the nose and upper lip. Highly recommended!
Rasoir est fabuleux!! Je me rase à tout les jours, et il s'est prouvé à la fois efficaçe et doux sur la peau. Je dirais efficace dans le milieu du spectrum. Plus efficaçe et ce ne serait pas un rasoir quotidien. Le manchon pourrait être un peu plus "grippant", mais tres confortable mêmes avec mains mouillées.
The Le Maurice is great! I'm a daily shaver, and found it to be efficient yet smooth enough for a daily shaver. I would rate it as a mid-level efficiency razor, meaning it gives me BBS in a three pass shave effortlessly, whereas if it was more efficient, you wouldn't be able to shave with it daily. Then handle could be a little more grippy, but it is very comfortable to hold whithout slipping with wet hands.
J’ai pris la version « polie » du numéro 7 et c’est un excellent rasoir (0.7mm). Très efficace, doux, si l’on pratique un peu de vigilance ou de prudence. Je l’utilise tous les jours, et il me donne un résultat très propre à chaque fois. Le numéro 7 (0.7 mm) est devenu mon rasoir de choix pendant plusieurs mois maintenant. La tête est extrêmement légère - je me demandais même si on m’avait envoyé la version titanium en erreur. Excellent rasoir - bravo !
I have the la Faulx and the Vestige. Excellent razors that give exceptional shaves for me. Smooth, efficient and no irritation. I use the + plate on the la Faulx and the Classic plate on the Vestige. Treat yourself with any razor from Atelier Durdan!
